First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 16, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study uses advanced brain scans to understand how Parkinson's disease affects brain connections. Researchers will compare brain activity in 120 people—some with Parkinson's and some without—to study a recently discovered brain network called SCAN. The goal is to learn if this network plays a key role in Parkinson's symptoms and could become a target for future treatments.
