Brain scans probe the hidden damage of long COVID

NCT ID NCT05615415

Summary

This study aims to understand the brain-related causes of long COVID symptoms like memory problems, anxiety, and depression. Researchers will use advanced brain scans and blood tests on 30 people who had COVID-19 3 to 12 months ago. The goal is to see if inflammation or blood vessel changes in the brain are linked to these lasting symptoms, which could help with future diagnosis.
