Scientists scan brains to see how new depression drug works

NCT ID NCT07329621

Summary

This early-stage study aims to understand how an experimental medication called MSP-2020 attaches to specific targets in the brain. Researchers will use brain scans and blood tests in 18 healthy male volunteers to measure how the drug interacts with brain receptors and how long it stays in the body. The main goal is to gather basic information about the drug's behavior and safety before testing it in people with depression.
