Can a daily pill boost brain blood flow after menopause?
NCT ID NCT07406243
Summary
This study aims to see if taking a dietary supplement called MitoQ for three months can improve the health and function of blood vessels that supply the brain in healthy women over 60. Researchers will compare the supplement to a placebo (a dummy pill) in 86 participants to see if it works by reducing a specific type of cell stress. The goal is to understand if this supplement could help control age-related declines in brain circulation.
