First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a natural hormone called LEAP2 can lower brain activity in response to food pictures in people with obesity. Twenty-eight men with a BMI between 30 and 50 will receive either LEAP2 or a placebo on two separate days and undergo brain scans. The goal is to better understand how the ghrelin system affects appetite and food cravings.
