Summary
This study looks at how often brain CT scans are used for people with mild head injuries in Italian emergency rooms. Many of these scans show nothing wrong, so the goal is to understand why they are done and find ways to avoid unnecessary ones. The study will also check if current rules for deciding when to scan are accurate. About 2,500 adults with mild head trauma will take part.
