Scientists test a cooling cap to see if it changes your Brain's response

NCT ID NCT02363296

Summary

This completed study aimed to understand how brain activity changes. Researchers tested if cooling the scalp with a special cap or delivering magnetic brain stimulation at specific moments in a person's brain wave cycle could change how the brain responds. They studied healthy volunteers using non-invasive methods like a cooling helmet, brain wave recordings (EEG), and magnetic brain stimulation (TMS).
