Chilling the brain to save it after a stroke
NCT ID NCT06634303
Summary
This first-in-human study is testing a new medical device that cools the brain after a stroke. It is used right after doctors remove a blood clot from the brain. The goal is to see if cooling the brain for 30 minutes is safe and can help protect brain tissue, potentially leading to better recovery for stroke patients.
