Brain scan study seeks clues to restless legs misery

NCT ID NCT07001891

First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study looks at how the brain processes internal body signals in people with restless legs syndrome (RLS). Researchers will use MRI scans and daily symptom tracking via a smartphone app and activity monitor to see if brain connection patterns differ between RLS patients and healthy volunteers. The goal is to better understand why symptoms worsen at rest, not to test a treatment.
