Summary

This study is testing a special device called mindBEAGLE that may help people who are unconscious or minimally conscious communicate. Participants wear a cap that reads brain waves and use vibrations or sounds to learn how to answer yes/no questions. The goal is to see if this technology can be successfully used during inpatient rehabilitation to help patients communicate before they regain full consciousness.
