Scientists watch the brain rewire itself as we learn new moves
NCT ID NCT07455461
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at how the brain changes when healthy people learn a brand-new motor skill. Forty right-handed volunteers will practice a finger-cursor task over three sessions. Researchers use a harmless brain stimulation technique called TMS to measure brain activity before and after learning. The goal is to understand the brain's natural learning process, not to test a treatment.
