Scientists test 'Trojan Horse' stem cells to fight deadly brain tumors

NCT ID NCT06169280

Summary

This early-stage study is testing the safety of a new treatment for aggressive brain tumors called high-grade glioma. Doctors are using specially engineered stem cells that carry a virus designed to target and kill cancer cells. The treatment is given directly into the brain multiple times alongside standard chemotherapy and radiation to see if it is safe and might help control the tumor.
