Scientists test 'Trojan Horse' stem cells to fight deadly brain cancer

NCT ID NCT05139056

Summary

This early-stage study is testing the safety of a new treatment for aggressive brain tumors that have returned. Doctors use specially engineered neural stem cells designed to seek out cancer cells and deliver a virus that kills them. The treatment is given directly into the brain during and after surgery to see if it can control the tumor's growth.
