New drug combo tested in fight against deadly brain cancer

Summary

This study is testing a new two-part treatment for aggressive brain tumors that have returned or worsened. It aims to see if giving the drugs GI-102 and pembrolizumab just before surgery is safe and can help the immune system attack the tumor. The trial is for adults with specific types of recurrent brain cancer who are eligible for another surgery. It is currently suspended and not enrolling new participants.
