Targeted pill tested in fight against recurrent brain tumors

NCT ID NCT06105619

Summary

This study is testing whether an experimental capsule called vebreltinib (PLB1001) can help people live longer than standard chemotherapy for a specific type of recurrent brain cancer. It is for adults whose glioblastoma has returned and who have a particular genetic change called the ZM fusion gene. Participants are randomly assigned to receive either the new capsule or one of two standard chemotherapy regimens to compare the outcomes.
