Precision radiation attack on deadly brain cancer
NCT ID NCT05653622
Summary
This study is testing a more precise way to deliver radiation to glioblastoma, a fast-growing brain cancer. It focuses on frail patients or those who could not have full surgery. Doctors use a special PET scan to find the most aggressive parts of the tumor and aim a higher radiation dose directly at those spots, hoping to better control the cancer and help patients live longer.
