Brain cancer scans: separating real growth from false alarms

NCT ID NCT06199479

Summary

This study aims to determine if advanced MRI scans can better distinguish between true tumor growth and pseudoprogression (where treatment makes a tumor appear worse but it isn't actually growing) in adults with brain cancer. Researchers will compare detailed imaging results with tissue samples from biopsies to see which scan methods are most accurate. The goal is to help doctors avoid unnecessary treatments when scans show false progression.
