New hope for brain cancer patients in Early-Stage trial
NCT ID NCT03528642
Summary
This early-stage trial is testing a new drug called telaglenastat, given alongside standard radiation and chemotherapy (temozolomide), for people with certain types of brain tumors (IDH-mutant astrocytomas). The main goals are to find the safest dose of the new drug combination and to check for early signs that it might help control the tumor. The study will also closely monitor side effects and how patients feel during treatment.
