Scientists map the Body's inner rhythms in autism, Alzheimer's, and more

NCT ID NCT03672266

Summary

This study aims to understand how the brain and body work together by measuring signals like brain waves, heart rate, and movement. Researchers will compare these signals in 100 people, including healthy individuals and those with conditions like autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, or Alzheimer's disease, as they perform simple activities like walking. The goal is to build a reference map of typical nervous system activity to better understand how it differs in various disorders.
