Summary

This study compared two non-invasive methods for monitoring brain blood flow during major surgery. Researchers wanted to understand how maintaining proper blood pressure affects thinking problems after surgery. They studied 509 adults having long operations with significant blood loss to see which monitoring approach worked better.
