Researchers track silent danger in tiniest babies

NCT ID NCT07198360

Summary

This study aims to understand how common brain bleeding is in very premature babies, what factors make it more likely to happen, and what the short-term health outcomes are. Researchers will observe 300 preterm infants in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), using brain scans to detect bleeding. The goal is to gather knowledge to help identify at-risk babies earlier, not to test a new treatment.
