Precision brain surgery trial aims to improve recovery from devastating strokes

NCT ID NCT03957707

Summary

This study is comparing two ways to treat a specific type of serious brain bleed (stroke) in the deep brain. It tests whether a precise, minimally invasive surgery to drain the blood clot, followed by clot-busting medicine, leads to better recovery than standard medication alone. The goal is to see if this targeted approach helps more people regain independence in their daily lives after this kind of stroke.
