Precision brain surgery trial aims to save lives and reduce disability
NCT ID NCT07471256
Summary
This large trial is testing whether a precise, computer-guided surgery to drain a brain bleed, followed by a clot-busting drug, leads to better recovery than standard medical care. It will enroll 636 adults who have recently had a specific type of brain bleed in the outer lobes. The main goal is to see if this combined approach helps more people walk and function independently six months later.
