Brain surgery showdown: Camera-Guided technique battles standard drainage

Summary
This study aims to find the better surgery for chronic subdural hematoma, a condition where fluid builds up around the brain. It will compare a newer, camera-assisted method that allows surgeons to see and clean the area more thoroughly against the standard drainage procedure. Researchers will track 770 patients to see which technique leads to fewer repeat bleeds, better recovery, and shorter hospital stays.
