Scientists probe Brain's 'Stop' and 'Focus' buttons

NCT ID NCT04279158

Summary

This research aims to understand how the brain's ability to focus attention interacts with its ability to stop or inhibit actions. The study will compare healthy adults to patients with specific brain conditions (like optic ataxia, hemispatial neglect, or ADHD) to see how these processes differ. The goal is to build a model of this interaction to potentially improve future diagnostic and rehabilitation tools.
