Could one aneurysm signal another? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT07312565
Summary
This study aims to find out how often people who have survived a ruptured brain aneurysm also have an undetected aneurysm in their main abdominal artery. Researchers will give 233 participants a simple, non-invasive ultrasound scan of their abdomen. The goal is to gather better evidence about whether screening for one type of aneurysm should be routine for people who have had the other.
