Summary

This study aims to learn how the brain controls reward-seeking and risk-taking behaviors in people with Parkinson's disease. Researchers will record brain activity during deep brain stimulation surgery while participants play a gambling task. The study involves 75 adults aged 40 and older who are already scheduled for surgery. No new treatments are tested; the goal is to gather knowledge about brain signals.
