Scientists track Brain's final moments in ICU patients

Summary
This study aims to understand when brain activity stops compared to when the heart stops in patients who are taken off life support. Researchers will monitor electrical brain activity in 158 ICU patients as they progress toward death. The goal is to gather evidence about brain function during the dying process to inform organ donation practices.
