Placental patch may speed healing of chronic leg wounds
NCT ID NCT06811909
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tests whether a weekly application of a human placental graft (BR-AC), along with standard wound care, can help heal chronic venous leg ulcers faster than standard care alone. About 60 adults with a non-healing leg ulcer will be randomly assigned to receive either BR-AC plus standard care or standard care only. The main goal is to see if more wounds close completely within 12 weeks with the added graft.
