Walking backwards to walk forward? new study tests gentle therapy for arthritic knees
NCT ID NCT07238751
Summary
This study is testing whether a combination of two gentle physical treatments can help people with knee osteoarthritis. Researchers want to see if the Bowen technique (a light touch therapy) combined with walking backwards can improve hamstring flexibility, reduce pain, and make daily movements easier. The study will involve 36 adults aged 40-60 with mild to moderate knee arthritis.
