Summary
This study compares two methods for inserting a breathing tube in emergency situations outside the hospital: using a bougie (a flexible guide) versus the tube alone. The goal is to see which approach helps paramedics succeed on the first attempt, reducing risks like low oxygen or heart problems. About 710 adults needing emergency intubation will take part, and those with known difficult airway signs are excluded.
