New bladder injection study aims to help kids with nerve conditions

NCT ID NCT02816151

Summary

This study tested whether a lower dose of botulinum toxin injections into the bladder works as well as the standard higher dose for children with nerve-related bladder overactivity. Researchers compared the two doses in 29 children aged 3-15 whose previous medications weren't working well. The goal was to find the most effective dose with potentially fewer side effects and lower treatment costs.
