First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looked at whether injecting botulinum toxin A into a groin muscle could reduce pain and improve daily activities in 20 adults with long-term athletic pubalgia (sports-related groin pain). Participants had already tried other medical or surgical treatments without success. The researchers measured pain levels and quality of life shortly after the injection to see if it helped.
