Botox for leg pain? new study tests a surprising treatment

Summary

This study tests whether botulinum injections can reduce leg pain during sports in people with chronic exertional compartment syndrome (CECS). About 50 adults with confirmed CECS will receive either the botulinum injection or a placebo. Researchers will track pain levels and leg function over 24 weeks to see if the treatment helps.
