Botox shot for thumb arthritis: new hope for pain relief?

Summary
This study tests whether injecting Botox into the thumb joint can reduce pain and improve hand function in people with thumb osteoarthritis (rhizarthrosis). Sixty adults with moderate to severe pain who haven't responded to standard painkillers will receive either Botox or a placebo injection. The main goal is to see if pain levels drop three months after the injection.
