Summary

This study tested whether Botox injections could safely reduce the appearance of a wide, square jaw caused by prominent chewing muscles. About 250 adults who were bothered by their jaw shape received either Botox or placebo injections into the jaw muscles. Researchers measured changes in jaw appearance and participant satisfaction over six months.
