First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study is testing whether injecting botulinum toxin (Botox) into skin lesions can reduce inflammation and pain in people with hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), a chronic skin condition. The idea is that blocking nerve signals may calm the immune system's overreaction. Researchers will enroll 20 adults with HS and examine skin samples before and after treatment.
