Can being bored make pain feel worse?
NCT ID NCT07330167
Summary
This study aims to understand if feeling bored or happy changes how sensitive people are to pain. Researchers will have 160 adults watch short videos (boring, funny, or nothing) while experiencing brief pressure pain. They will measure pain thresholds before and after to see if emotions influence the pain experience.
