Texts & navigators: Utah's push to get more shots in arms
NCT ID NCT04939519
Summary
This project aimed to find the best way to help more patients at Utah community health centers get COVID-19 vaccines. Researchers tested two methods: sending reminder text messages, and combining texts with extra support from a 'patient navigator' to help with scheduling or answering questions. The study involved over 65,000 patients to see which approach was more effective at increasing vaccination rates.
