First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 23, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study aimed to find the best way to encourage more people to get tested for COVID-19 at Utah's community health centers. Researchers compared two methods: sending automated text messages, and combining texts with personal support from a 'patient navigator' to help with scheduling and questions. The goal was to see which approach led more eligible patients to complete a COVID-19 test.
