Zap to heal? device tested to get injured athletes back in the game faster
NCT ID NCT06666608
Summary
This study is testing if a device called a bone stimulator can help athletes with a specific back injury (spondylolysis) heal better. Researchers want to see if using the device along with physical therapy helps reduce pain, improve healing of the bone, and allows athletes to return to their sport more quickly. They are enrolling 48 athletes aged 16-40 who have this painful injury.
