Heel pain showdown: bone marrow vs. platelet injections

Summary

This study tests two types of injections—bone marrow concentrate and platelet-rich fibrin—to see which better relieves long-term heel pain from plantar fasciitis. About 72 adults with persistent pain despite other treatments will receive one of the injections under ultrasound guidance. The goal is to reduce pain and improve foot function over several months.
