First seen May 31, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests a milder chemotherapy regimen (fludarabine-based) before a bone marrow transplant from a matched sibling donor. It includes up to 25 children and young adults (ages 0-22) with acquired aplastic anemia or inherited bone marrow failure. The goal is to see if this approach helps the donor cells successfully take hold and reduces transplant-related risks.
