Could a bone marrow boost help heal torn hips?

NCT ID NCT07422662

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jul 02, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks at whether injecting a patient's own bone marrow into the hip during arthroscopic surgery can improve recovery for torn hip cartilage (labral tears). About 80 adults aged 18-55 with this condition will be randomly assigned to get surgery plus the injection or surgery alone. The main goal is to see if the injection leads to better pain and function scores over time.
