First seen Feb 22, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding an injection of the patient's own bone marrow during hip arthroscopy improves recovery for torn hip cartilage (labral tears). About 80 adults aged 18–55 with femoroacetabular impingement will be randomly assigned to receive either the standard surgery alone or surgery plus the bone marrow injection. The main goal is to see if the injection leads to better pain and function scores over time.
