NCT ID NCT06388993

First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at two different systems for collecting bone marrow liquid from the hip. Six people with hip bone loss who are already having minimally invasive surgery will take part. One system is the standard used at Ohio State, and the other is a new device. Researchers will compare how many stem cells, cytokines, and growth factors each method collects. No new treatments are given—only the standard system is used for the actual surgery.
