First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looks at two different systems for collecting bone marrow from the hip. Six people having hip surgery will give bone marrow samples using both a standard system and a new one. The samples will be compared in the lab to see which method collects more stem cells and healing factors. No new treatment is given—only standard care plus extra samples for research.
