Race to rebuild bone: new vs. old technique face off

Summary
This study aims to find out which of two surgical techniques works better for rebuilding large missing sections of bone in the leg. Researchers will observe 250 adult patients who have severe bone loss from trauma, infection, or tumor surgery. They will compare the traditional 'Masquelet' method against a newer 'electromagnetic transport nail' technique to see which leads to faster healing and better recovery.
