Scientists test which bone graft helps dental implants hold better

NCT ID NCT06173791

Summary

This study compared two forms of processed donor bone material used during a common dental procedure called a sinus lift. The goal was to see if one form (fibers) helps the patient's own new bone grow better than another form (particles) when preparing the jaw for a dental implant. Researchers measured the amount of new bone formed in 26 patients six months after their surgery.
