Summary
This study tested a mixture of the patient's own bone, artificial bone material, antibiotic, and fresh blood to help heal leg fractures that had not joined properly. 25 adults with broken thigh or shin bones that were fixed but not healing received this graft. The goal was to see if the mixture helped the bones heal and reduced pain.
