Summary
This study compares bone marrow collected from the hip bone versus the shin bone using a special device. Researchers want to see if the cells and growth factors are similar between the two sites. About 12 adults needing bone graft for foot or ankle surgery will take part. The goal is to understand the properties of each sample, not to test a new treatment.
